Welcome to Wood Guest Ranch and Equestrian Center! We are located in Southeastern Oklahoma just north of Boswell. Wood Guest Ranch serves as the home to a host of family fun outdoor activities including horseback riding on their famous Peruvian Paso horses, wagon rides and a working arena with full amenities that allow you to enjoy your riding experience for the day, weekend or the whole week.
Hunter's River Bottom Adventures at Wood Guest Ranch is over 3,000 acres of prime Southeastern Oklahoma game hunting land where Whitetail Deer, Wild Turkeys and Ferral Hogs are abundant. Our hunts have high success on trophy animals and are fully guided affairs that include lodging, meals and taxidermy service. We offer several Oklahoma game hunting packages to choose from with a variety of seasons to include rifle, archery and black powder hunting.
Hunter Prairie Game Ranch Offers Quail Hunting, Pheasant Hunting, Duck Hunting, Deer and Turkey Hunting. Hunter Prairie is a 480 acre World Class Bird Hunting Facility with a Predator Proof Fence to ensure excellent Bird Hunting. We can offer to guest a hunting experience in one of the most game-rich counties in Oklahoma.
Wood Guest Ranch also serves the hunting enthusiast; whether it is bird hunting on the Hunter Prairie Game Ranch or deer hunting at Hunter's River Bottom Adventures. Available is year-long quail and wild hog hunting for the enthusiast with permits. Hunter's River Bottom Adventures also has a professionally rated archery range with competitions scheduled throughout the year to test the skill of the professional archer and bowman as well as amateur enthusiast.
RULES AND REGULATIONS
WOOD GUEST RANCH AND EQUESTRIAN CENTER (the "Ranch") hereby requires each of its guests that use the facilities of the Ranch to agree as follows:
CURRENT COGGINS REQUIRED ON ALL HORSES
1. No loose pets allowed on trails or campgrounds. All pets must be kept on a leash or in a portable pin at camp. Please use designated potty areas.
2. No Motorcycles or 4-wheelers, 3-wheelers, or any ATV motor vehicles allowed in camp or on trails.
3. No Alcohol or illegal drugs drugs of any kind allowed at the Ranch.
4. No trash on trails or camp sites. If you carry it in, please carry it out.
5. No fires except in designated fire rings, which are provided by the Ranch.
6. No fighting or usage of foul language at any time.
7. No smoking at any time due to fire hazards.
8. No fire arms of any kind allowed at the Ranch.
9. No rough riding, racing, running, or trotting of the horses. We have spent a lot of time and money training our horses for all our guests to enjoy safe riding.
10. Please identify kicking horses with red ribbons.
11. Please exercise quiet hours after 10:00 p.m.
12. Please exercise caution when using fishing tackle since children and animals can and will get hooked.
13. Please arrive on time for all scheduled rides. Arriving late will alter the schedule for the remainder of the day. Please know a staff member of the Ranch may use discretion as to whether or not late arrivals may participate in a particular ride.
14. Novice riders must be evaluated in the arena by a member of the Ranch's staff and passed for trail riding.
15. Any riders under the age of 18 must have a parent or guardian complete and sign the consent portion of the Ranch's Release and Indemnity Agreement.
16. Please be aware that the Ranch and any of its staff members have the right to use discretion with any rider or camper and may refuse service to any rider or camper.
17. The Release Assumption of Risk is required by each individual at the time of entrance to the Ranch.
